If I were to encounter a crocodile, should I be scared even if he seemed friendly?

Dr. Seldomright replies:

Dear Leilani,

A crocodile lives in the Nile
He has a very winning smile
I would not trust it for beneath
he has a lot of pointed teeth
If you should chance to wander by and catch his croc unblinking eye
WATCH OUT! --
It's then you might excite
his voracious appetite
I'd rather walk a hundred miles
than meet a mean old crocodile.
