Foreword

Within the muse, and its demand,
my deepest feelings take command.
That’s why I chose to fill each page
with tender thoughts and shouts of rage,
lest in the whirl of daily needs,
they blow away like tumbleweeds.
To seek for some realistic reasons,
to understand life’s petty treasons,
or tyranny that is abiding,
or somewhere in the shadows hiding.
These poems are what I perceive,
my verse and heart are on my sleeve.
