Poetry and Prose This is Katya and her cat Sarah.  We've never met anyone who loves cats as much as Katya! She sent us drawings and a poem she wrote called "God bless the cats."  She wrote, "I love cats, my little cats and kittens, I love them!"  Katya also has a gray cat named Gato. Napping Cat by Amy    Amy is eight-years-old and lives in England.  She followed our kitty drawing lessons and did a great job! My kittens, Chai and Stevia My kittens Chai and Stevia, were born in the  woods near where I live.  I would see their  mommy cat there too.  All summer I watched  them play and have fun climbing trees and  chasing each other. I brought them food every  day.  One day, Stevia (the gray tabby)  disappeared.  Chai was all alone and scared,  so I took him home with me. My mom took him  to the cat doctor, and he became our cat!  A week later, Stevia came back.  Now he was all alone, and cried in the bushes, so we just had to take him home too.      Chai and Stevia love each other very much. Even though they have a kitty house, a pillow, a blanket and a chair, they prefer to sleep in the laundry basket.     I Love my cat by Benji My cat is the very best. His name is Gato (spanish for cat).  He eats by putting the food on his paws and then licking it off!  I think he's very smart because he always knows when I'm coming home from school.  He goes to the door and sits there waiting for me to come in and give him a hug. Kallen tells us about her two very special cats. Their names are Tigger and Sylvia.  Tigger only has three legs!  We saw him in a pet store and no one else wanted him because of that, but we did.  That was five years ago. We still love him very much.  We also adopted Sylvia, who was a stray.  She doesn't always come inside because she's afraid of people, but we love her just the same.  Tigger and Sylvia are special and loved by many people.
